What are some Good Text Editors for a developer?
There are a number of text editors around, both free & paid versions. They turn out to be good in some aspects, and not that good in some other ways. What text editor can be a good lightweight text editor to use as a developer?

If you are a frequent developer, coder, the 2 text editors, Emacs & Vim are your masters. There is a plenty of good to use options, such as freeze panes, better shortcut keys, etc. The only thing is you will have to get used to the interface in order to bring out the best efficiency of the editor. But once you get used to it, it is hard to get rid of using them.

Sublime Text & Notepad++ are 2 of the widely used text editors among current generation developers. Among those 2 I personally prefer Sublime Text due to the reason of being able to customize and extend its functionality to a much greater extent.
